Not Everything Is Unicorns and Rainbows

Like all of our animals we tend to bring new arrivals to the vet for an examination to ensure they are in good health. Given that we are an animal rescue farm this usually means our animals arrive in need of some kind of medical care based on their previous living conditions. Our two new Sheep tested positive for multiple parasites which required 5 days of shots. Sadly the mother Sheep Norma did not take too well to getting a shot and bucked me which resulted in the needle injecting into my thumb. One quick trip to the ER and a week of antibiotics later and I'm back to being healthy. Never a dull moment here on Roxy's Farm
